A club belongs to a person, not to a business. A venue may
be its home — and never sees the roster.
A room is a host, a subject, and a floor you are given
rather than take. The floor is written and it is spoken: being in the
room is being in the audio, and the microphone is only ever the
floor you were already given.
This is a place to find a local, not a bed. A trip is a city and
two dates — never an address. You meet in public; a meal at someone's
home is daytime, at least three people, and cannot run into the night.
Hosting and staying both need a verified ID, on both sides. No
payment is made and fofiy is not part of it. The address arrives
only when a host has accepted you, and only for those nights.
Afterwards you each write a reference, and they stay.
Ordered by the ticket seller — a search by their match, a browse by date. Neither is a popularity score.
fofiy is open everywhere. The list grows from people standing somewhere, not from curation.

Start a club
The club is yours — not in your name, but in your care. You can hand it to a member whenever you like.
The venue is the host, not the owner. It never sees the roster and cannot run the club.
New collection
A shelf is not a shop. Nothing here is for sale by you, and nobody is paid for it.
List an object
It opens at €1 in public. Your minimum is yours — the server obeys it and never shows it, and a bid under it is accepted in silence.
Six at most. These are public the moment the object is — that is what being on the wall means.
Leave it empty and there is none. It never leaves the server, and it cannot be changed once the object is on the wall.
Once it is there the words, the photographs and your minimum are fixed, and it cannot be withdrawn — people will be bidding on what it said.

Not for signing in — a verified number unlocks adding more than three places and starting a club. Your number is stored nowhere; it is only used to deliver the message.

This is your address on fofiy — how people mention
you, tag you and find your profile. Lowercase letters, digits and underscore.

Five people who know you
Everybody comes in the same way: you name five fofiy buddies, each of them confirms they know you, and then a person reads it. That is not a velvet rope — it is how a room fills, and it costs asking five people out loud rather than holding a code.

Let us meet
Two questions. Your name is the one thing nobody at the
place can see — it opens only when a request is accepted.
fofiy is closed to under-18s. This is not a checkbox — it is the
condition of the record itself.
You are saying you will be there,
not that you are. The place's count does not move, the room is told somebody is coming, and
this expires by itself in 45 minutes.
It switches off by itself when the time is up. You can be ON at one place at a time.
Only somebody whose request you accepted sees this. It never shows in the place list.
Your location is never broadcast. When you turn fofiy On, only people who are ON at this same place see you. When the time is up you drop off the list; all that stays at the place is a nameless count, and that record is deleted after 90 days.

Add the place you are in
It does not have to be a business. A beach, a park, a square — anywhere with a name that everybody knows. Added once, visible to everybody.
You can only add a place while you are inside it — the coordinates are proven by the minutes you spend there, not by your phone. If a place with the same name is nearby, no new one opens; you join the existing one. The merge radius follows the kind: twenty metres in a café, four hundred on a beach.
A place you add is at first visible only to you and to somebody standing in it; it enters the lists once somebody other than you has been fofiy On there.

Your venue may already be on fofiy — a partnership is the upgrade on top: the table QR, a featured listing, and the hours board.
Your application is visible only to you. Approval is never opened to third parties, and the QR key is never sent to the client.
The menu
One item a line. A price at the end after a dash; leave it off and it shows as “ask”. A line ending in a colon is a heading.
fofiy takes no payment and nothing here can be ordered. A price is what the venue last typed, not an offer.

Businesses say what they want to happen; you answer with what you would make. The creator side opens first — before the money is wired, so that there is somebody to answer with.
Separated by commas. A photographer in one town who would take a job in the next one is the ordinary case, and one city could not say it.
Your application is a private letter: only you can read it. There is no creator directory, and no reader anywhere answers "who are the creators".

This goes to people near the hospital who could give this blood. Do not write the patient's name — the call does not carry one, and it does not need one.
One call a day, and it expires in twelve hours. You can cancel it, which stops anything not yet sent - a phone that has already been told cannot be untold.

Follow it or do not — the button on its page works exactly as it does on anybody's. Muting the second two never mutes the first: a product that can silence its own service notices has built a way to not tell you something.

People who want to join

Somebody you do not choose is never told they were not chosen — they see that the places are full. Who you invited is your business; who was left out is nobody’s.
Invite from your contacts
No number leaves your phone. The hash of your number leaves, the server matches only people already on fofiy, and keeps nothing that did not match. An invitation to somebody not on fofiy is sent by your own phone — we never see that number and we message nobody.
Your invitation
One at a time. Spend it on somebody you would be glad to run into.
An invitation you spend does not come back — including if the account it opens is later removed. That is not a penalty; it is why there is one at a time.
With this off, somebody who knows your number cannot find you here. Whether your profile is public is a separate setting.
